About this stone
The largest matched pair here at 2.70 carats for the two, cut as ovals in a pale champagne yellow — light, warm, and considerably softer than the saturated golden pairs. The two stones agree closely in colour, size and cut, which is the whole difficulty of assembling a pair and the reason pairs are priced above two loose stones of the same total weight. The gentle tone makes these easy to wear and easy to set against either white or yellow metal; in yellow gold the champagne colour warms up noticeably. Intended for earrings, or as flanking stones in a three-stone ring.
