An unheated pink sapphire of exactly 2.00 carats, oval cut. Untreated pink is the scarcer half of the pink sapphire market, since most commercial pink material is heated to lift its colour. Because pink sapphire is priced overwhelmingly on saturation, the photographs will matter more for this lot than the specification does — request them before deciding.
