About this stone
A matched pair of round sapphires totalling 1.75 carats in a bright lemon gold — lighter and cooler in tone than the deeper golden pairs, which keeps them looking crisp rather than warm. The two stones are well matched in size and colour. At this price this is the least expensive way into the collection, and it is a sensible one: a pair of properly matched Ceylon sapphire rounds is more useful to a jeweller than a single small stone, and studs are the piece people actually wear daily.
