About this stone
A matched pair of ovals totalling 1.75 carats, and the warmest colour in the collection — a rich amber gold that leans toward orange rather than lemon, deeper and more honeyed than either round pair. The crowns are cut with broad, flat facets that behave a little like a checkerboard, giving wide bright reflections instead of fine sparkle, which suits the heavier colour. Set in yellow gold these will read as almost continuous with the metal; in white metal the amber tone stands out sharply. The same price as HR21 and a completely different character — worth comparing the two photographs side by side before choosing.
