About this stone
A heated blue sapphire of 2.70 carats cut as a heart. Heart cuts are difficult to execute well and are correspondingly uncommon, so having two in one collection is unusual; this is the more accessible of the pair, at roughly a third of the price of HR18. Symmetry is the thing to judge in any heart cut — the lobes and the cleft — so ask for the photographs and the video before committing. Studio photography is in preparation.
