About this stone
A heated blue sapphire of 2.30 carats, oval cut. This is the weight band most engagement solitaires land in: substantial on the hand without crossing into the tier that large untreated material commands. The oval is the most commonly requested outline for a sapphire solitaire because it elongates the finger and sets easily in almost any style of mounting.
