A heated blue sapphire of 3.35 carats in a cushion cut. The cushion is the traditional choice for blue sapphire because it retains weight from the rough while presenting a broad face-up outline, so a cushion generally looks larger than a round or oval of the same weight. Heat treatment is the standard, permanent, fully disclosed enhancement used across the trade. Studio photography for this lot is in preparation; video and detailed images are available on request.
Weight and measurements are taken in-house. An independent laboratory report from a recognised gemmological institute can be arranged for this lot before purchase — ask for it in your enquiry.
